Menstrual Cup Review

I've been going back and forth trying to decide whether or not to write this about this menstrual cup because it really is a personal matter but here it is.
I have been using tampons for years but since my pregnancy I have been unable to comfortably use tampons.  I would describe the pain as intolerable to say the least so when I was offered a menstrual cup for free to try I figured that I didn't have anything to lose.
I ordered the cup and it sat in my bathroom for 2 months because I was too chicken to try it. Well last month I finally got brave enough to give it a shot.  I read the directions and watch several YouTube videos on placing it but the truth is that every woman is different and you have to figure it out on a trial and error basis.  Make sure you wear a panty liner for the first couple of times just in case.  After 2 hours and several trips to the bathroom I finally got the cup in "place". I have been using it for 2 months now and I have to say that it has completely changed my life.  Once you figure it out you don't feel it at all. I go about my extremely busy day balancing my 11 month old, my small business, and building my blog & brand empire without giving my hygiene item a second thought.  It really is the most amazing product ever made for women.  I remove, clean, and replace the cup about every 12 hours and forget about it the rest of the time.  At the end of your cycle you need to boil it and store it in the storage bag provided.  If you are uncomfortable boiling it in your kitchen you can microwave water or use your Keurig to produce a cup of very hot water and take it to the bathroom.  It must be stored in a bag or container that can breath, storing it in a plastic bag will cause it to break down and you will have to replace it.
I do not own this video.

This is the one I purchased but you should decide which one is best for you.  I know they can range in price from $15-$45 depending on the brand but considering it will last for 10 years it's still a great value.
I received this item complimentary for testing and review purposes, however my opinions are mine alone and always honest.
That's the Buzz!
